The New Way Of Thinking about Vinyl Restoration starts with one of our CTP phono preamps. The CTP-2000 offers incredible specs, the warmth of expensive tube preamps and delivers a perfectly flat signal to your computer...ideal for enhancing with DC SIX and transferring to CD. For the first time you can actually get pretty darn close to what the producer heard when your favorite recordings were played in the studio. This isn't just theoretical mumbo-jumbo...This is our newest and best phono preamp. Now, not only do you get a wonderful flat signal, but you get the warmth of an expensive tube preamp, a headphone amp, rumble filter and output volume control. And remember, this is a FLAT preamp. There's no RIAA built in. Instead you need to use the near perfect curve in DC Six to make your records sound like they are supposed to sound. It's in the Paragraphic Equalizer/RIAA preset Or you can use the large number of 78rpm curves in DC Six as well. There's no better preamp for LPs AND 78s than the CTP-2000

Important Features
12 AX7 Vacuum Tube- Provides the lush warm sound that tube lovers have come to expect
Headphone jack - You gotta have one. It'll allow you to monitor your recordings without waking up the cat. Also has a real knob to control the headphone volume - imagine that!
Rumble Filter - a high pass filter built right in! Getting rid of turntable rumble with DC Six is easy, but it's even easier to just push the button while you record in your precious records
Level Control - You asked for it. This was the number one request for the CTP-1000 and now it's here. Just use your thumb and index finger and grasp the volume knob. Turn clockwise to make the DC Six meters jump higher. Turn counterclockwise to make them lower. So simple and so cool.
Cool tube shield that lets you see the soft glow of the 12AX7. This also protects the tube from damage and let's it dissipate its heat. We know it works - we dropped a prototype and it kept playing the whole time it was bouncing on the floor
