SIX Patch To 6.14
(1.63 Megs) |
This
is a cumulative patch update that fixes bug and adds one new
feature. It adds the ability to use marker names as file
names when chopping files.
Here is a
complete list of fixes:
- Increases temp file limit and adds warnings if you have have many
temp files.
- Fixes EzClean low frequency attenuation at zero attenuation.
- Fixes EzClean display of hiss level when bypassed
- Fixes Virtual Valve Amp filter strange behavior with some settings
- Changes Find and Mark Silent passages to place markers in the middle
of the marker area.
- Extended minimum time between markers on Find and Mark Silent
Passages to 99 seconds from 40.
- Adds progress bar and cancel button to Save As in Fast Edit mode
- Fixes Batch file editor so that it really will overwrite the Source
files. This works regardless of the "Use Dest
Dir" checkbox, which is different than before. This
allows you to re-use the same list of files with a
different filter, sort of like chaining operations.
- Fixes the Spectrum Analyzer Clear button when dual display mode is
selected.
- Fixes the Median filter with Odd width values and a weighting other
than zero.
- Fixes the Batch File editor and Playlist editor total times with
24bit files.
- Fixes the XY display logic for the Left and Right channels.
- Fixes the Timer record so it would wrap past midnight.
- Fixes the DirectX plug-in filter so it works properly with 24-bit
files.
- Adds full support for 32-bit floating point file types.
- Changes I/O card preferences so two instances of DC SIX can use
different sound card settings; such as two different
inputs on a multi-track sound card.
- Fixes the Freeze button on the Continuous Noise Filter so that it
works if you stop the filter and preview again.
- Adds an option to switch to the older FFT algorithm for systems that
have experienced crashing
- Fixes incorrect display using Fast Edit with 24-bit mono files.
- Fixes page up and page down keys to work correctly at the beginning
and end of files.
- Adds wait cursor and status text while rebuilding a peak file.
- Fixes program exit bug. If you close the program and answer cancel
to the "Do you want to save?" Question, the
program would exit anyway.
- Fix Save after program exits. If you answer yes to save the file
after closing the program, the main window stays
displayed until the program exits. Previously it
disappeared.
- Fix and record bug. If you save a newly recorded file as an existing
name, the .pkf files and .ses file were not deleted,
- Fixes a DirectX plug-in filter bug on some filters like reverbs that
would never end.
- Fixes the wait cursor while saving, copying and
resampling.
- Fixes the File Save-As after a recording. If you overwrote an
existing file, the previous session file would not be
deleted, which confused the view of the new file.
- Fixes the File Conversion filter offset adjustment with high sample
rate files, and doubled the available file offset on
higher sample rate files.
- Fixes chop file dialog. Changing name suffix would gray out the base
name field for no good reason.
- Fixes Chop File dialog when deleting the original file. The file
would remain open in the editor even though it was
deleted.
- Adds feature to use the marker labels as file names when chopping
files into pieces.
- Fixes missing menu item "EzClean Filter" in DC SIX. It was
missing only when no files were opened.
- Fixes the operation of the Left only and Right only selection boxes.
They had reversed channels on the Echo and Adaptive
filters and did not work at all on the Declipper and in
the Multifilter.
- Fixes the TD Adaptive filter Keep Residue. It would not get saved in
the presets.
- Fixes many VVA presets

DC Millennium Patch To 4.80
|
This patch will only update version 4.64. If you have a previous version of the software, you should get the patch below first and then install this one. This is a self extracting exe file,
so all you need do is download it and run it...it will find your copy of Millennium and fix it up good. This will also copy a Readme.txt file in the installation directory so you know just what we fixed. Contact us with questions.
This patch will also place a new preset file call dcMillPresets.ini in the installation directory. This file contains new presets for the new filters. It was not automatically installed in the Windows directory because it will overwrite all of your existing
presets. If you want to use this new preset file, you should copy it to your Windows directory, but make a backup copy of your current
Windows\dcMillpresets.ini file first.
