Forensic Audio Restoration

Surveillance, two-way radio, and noisy telephone communications place special burdens on noise reduction software.  Though many requirements of a Forensics Engineer can be accomplished with the $59 DC Millennium and $199 DC SEVEN;  DC LIVE/Forensics comes complete with a special set of filters specifically designed for such applications.  Besides being useful in Forensics, LIVE can also use these filters to clean live broadcasts usually associated with Radio or Television.

Generally, professionals who are analyzing Forensic Audio are also working with large amounts of recorded material.  To that end, our LIVE product provides Realtime Feed-through for Audio.  That means that noisy audio plays through the input of the sound card through our filters and is spit out the output of the sound card in realtime.  This helps the Audio Forensic Specialist save the time of recording and playback of material before any work can actually be done and allows them to begin work immediately on challenging and long amounts of material.
